Govt not sparing any illegal drug traders: Quader
DHAKA, May 24, 2018 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said the government has not been sparing any illegal drug peddlers and steps are being taken against them.
"None would be spared, even if the person is a lawmaker or an influential member of the ruling party ...... All would be brought under the drive, if they are found guilty," he told newsmen while visiting the mobile court's activities of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) at Manik Mia Avenue here.
Quader said, "None is above the law. The government has adopted zero tolerance policy against the illegal drugs."
The government, he said, never gives shelter to anyone beyond the law.
