DHAKA, May 22, 2018 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Tuesday announced a 44-member preliminary squad for the Asian Games and the SAFF Championship to be held in Indonesia and Bangladesh from August 15-27 and September 4-15 respectively.
The Bangladesh Olympic Football team and the Bangladesh National Football team will take part in the respective tournaments.
To prepare the teams for those two international tournaments, a residential camp with a primary selected 44 players will begin on Saturday (May 26) at the International Hostel of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar.
The selected players have been asked to report to national team manager Satyajit Das Rupu with necessary sport gears before 12 pm on May 26 at the BFF house.
The selected players are Ashraful Islam Rana, Shahidul Islam, Anisur Rahman, Mitul Hasan and Pappu Hossain (custodian), Topu Bormon, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Faisal Mahmood, Mamun Mia, Waly Faisal, Saddam Hosain Anny, Abu Suflan, Uttam Kumar Bonik, M Al Amin, Robiul Hasan, Monjurul Rahman,, Atiqur Rahman Fahad, Nurul Naimul Faisal, Biswanath Ghosh, Sushanto Thipura and Tutul Hossain Badsha (defender), Mamunul Islam Mamun, Emon Mahmud, Jamal Bhuiyan, Jewel Rana, Fazley Rabbi, Mashuk Mia Zoni, M Abdullah, Sohel Rana, Hemonto Vinsent Biswas, Rahamat Matin Miah and Ali Hossain (mid fielder), Saad Uddin, M Ibrahim, Rubel Mia, Jafar Iqbal, Mahbubur Rahman, M Swadhin, Biplob Ahmed, Touhidul Alam Sabuz, Nabib Newaz Zibon and Monsur Amin (forward).
