JU goes on 40-day vacation
SAVAR, May 17, 2018 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) will go on a 40-day vacation from Sunday on the occasion of Summer holidays, Ramadan, Laylatul Qadr and the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
All classes and examinations will remain suspended till June 28 while administrative activities will remain closed from June 5 to June 21, JU Deputy Registrar Abu Hasan told BSS today.
The academic and administrative activities will resume on July 1. The departments of the university will continue their examinations if they want during the vacation, he said.
The university authorities will keep the student dormitories open for the necessity of the students.
