Foil new conspiracies of Bangabandhu's killers: AL leaders

RANGPUR, Aug 27, 2016 (BSS) - Leaders of Awami League (AL) here today called upon the common people for foiling the new conspiracies being hatched to destabilise the country and hinder developments by the killers of Bangabandhu.

They said the defeated anti-liberation forces have been conducting militant attacks as part of their conspiracies since assassination of Bangabandhu and most of his family members as part of a deep-rooted conspiracy to reverse independence.

They were addressing a mourning discussion organised by Ward No-30 unit of AL at Mahiganj Shaheed Minar here in observance of the National Mourning Day and 41st martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

With President of Ward No-30 unit of AL Angur Mian in the chair, President of city AL Shafiur Rahman Shafi attended and addressed the discussion as the chief guest.

General Secretary of city AL Tushar Kanti Mandal and its Vice-president and City Councilor Idris Ali as the special guests addressed the discussion moderated by General Secretary of Ward No-30 unit of AL Anwar Hossain Anu.

The speakers said the killers assassinated Bangabandhu and most of his family members for making the nation leaderless to destroy independence and revive Pakistan as a part of deep-rooted conspiracies.

Focusing on the life, deeds and contribution of Bangabandhu, Tushar Kanti Mandal called all for working unitedly in spirit of the War of Liberation for building an exploitation-free and non-communal 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by Bangabandhu.

The chief guest said the killers of Bangabandhu have been hatching new conspiracies through conducting militant and terrorist attacks to destabilise the country and demanded for bringing back all absconding killers of Bangabandhu for their execution.

"Bangladesh and Bangabandhu are inseparable," he said putting stress on further strengthening the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take the nation towards prosperity under her leadership for realising the dreams of Bangabandhu.
