Uganda bus-tractor crash toll rises to 48: Red Cross
KAMPALA, May 26, 2018 (BSS/AFP) - Forty-eight people died after a bus smashed into a tractor driving with no lights at night and a truck in northern Uganda, a Red Cross spokeswoman said on Saturday.
Irene Nakasiita told AFP the victims of the late Friday crash included 16 children. The accident happened in Kiryandongo, about 220 kilometres (140 miles) north of the capital Kampala.
